It has a phenomenal happenings while I took them. I believe it is the climate change, because a lot of things are in the atmosphere while I took the photos. It was raining hard and there were peculiar sights on the atmosphere that are hard to ignore. I’m inspired to take them because now I have the call to take action on what’s happening in our planet.

In my artwork I’ve focussed on Environmental pollution particularly water pollution. Inorganic and organic wastes are being dumped and dispose off in the water bodies (seas , oceans, rivers . etc.) which have affected the lives of the aquatic creatures greatly.
I’ve drawn Mother Earth playing with all the beautiful wild creatures. Earth has always given us every comfort and necessity of life. So we must also protect it and care for it in the best way . It is the responsibility of a human being to protect nature. We, as humans, should refrain from doing any harm to nature if we need to provide a good natural environment to the future generations. Each and everything in nature, including living or non-living organisms, play an important role in maintaining the balance to create a viable environment for all of us, which is called ecological balance. We need to make sure that the ecological balance should be maintained at all times to avoid a catastrophic situation in the future. Nature is a god gift to this world . Its beauty is not only seen, heard or smelt by us, it’s a feeling that can’t be erased. No man made beauty replaces the natural beauty with some small drop on plants and glass windows (specially in winters) , a beautiful sunset nearby oceans, seas, beautiful night with twinkling stars , a beautiful clear blue sky and how can I forget about rainbows . In my artwork I tried my level best to uphold Nature’s beauty.
Environmental degradation is one of the largest threats that are being looked at in the world today. The United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction characterizes environmental degradation as the lessening of the limit of the earth to meet social and environmental destinations and needs. Ban ki moon rightly said : “Saving our planet, lifting people out of poverty, advancing economic growth… these are one and the same fight. We must connect the dots between climate change, water scarcity, energy shortages, global health, food security and women’s empowerment. Solutions to one problem must be solutions for all.” In my artwork I’ve depicted how the lives of the animals are getting affected due to environmental degradation. With an increase in the number of Industries and factories, there is also an increase in the level of pollution which is one of the main reasons behind global warming. Due to global warming the the glaciers at both the poles have started to melt which has resulted into ‘ Habitat Crisis ‘ for the animals like Polar Bears etc. The hands in my painting represent hope… The hope of a brighter future where all the animals could live in harmony. In my artwork I’ve tried to focuss on such aspects .
I have shown the love and care of mother nature. You can spot the tiger to the very left side of this painting. The rhinos to the right ,the cute fawn to the right. Some beautiful butterflies at the bottom left corner of the artwork. You may notice the two birds at the top and a humming bird sucking nectar from the beautiful flowers. You may also see the fawn and the mother deer at the centre of this painting. Mother Nature in her human form has taken the Central stage in my painting. You can also see the beautiful flowers in the garden- so vibrant they are!!! I have painted many other creatures in my artwork(I’ll let the judges find the other creatures)😁😁.I believe that this painting is apt for the current situation in which we all are witnessing the large scale devastation of the flora and fauna the sole responsibility of which goes to the exploitative character of modern technology and the greedy mindset of the humans. n nI have made my best efforts to put my imagination on paper and make an explosion of mother nature’s and wildlife’s colours and motifs. I have used bright colours to create this artwork so as to express the vibrancy of the earth’s natural diversity in wildlife and to showcase the harmony and euphony among the animals living togethter in the environment.
I’ve depicted the scene where mother nature is calling out all the humans for a better future. Here mother has taken the form of a ocean goddess . You will be able to spot beautiful oceanic creatures and mermaids and corals embellishing her hair and her crown. The rising sun in the background symbolises the dawn of a brighter future full of new hopes . I’ve basically tried to create awareness through my painting regarding the conversation of the environment. The rising sun in the background and the blowing of the conch symbolises a new beginning…. The beginning of a brighter future where all the humans would strive to protect and preserve the earth and it’s elements.
